Privacy Policy
How blankit collects, uses, and protects your personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25.
What we collect
When you use blankit's benefits services we may collect: your full name, employer, plan booklet selections, claims experience metadata (in aggregate), and any messages you send to our chat assistant. We do not collect health diagnoses, claim line items, or biometric information.
How we use it
To deliver benefits-administration services to your plan sponsor, run renewal-fairness analyses, and answer plan-coverage questions through the chat assistant. Your information is never sold or used for third-party advertising.
Data residency
All data is stored in Canada (AWS Montreal — ca-central-1). Backups remain in the same region. Salesforce-sourced records, where applicable, remain in your firm's Salesforce org.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or out-of-date information.
- Request deletion of your information, subject to retention obligations.
- Receive a portable copy of your data in a structured format.
Submit a Subject Access Request below. We will respond within 30 days as required by PIPEDA. Identity verification is required before we fulfill any access or deletion request.
